How to borrow art
How to borrow art
We make it easy and affordable for health and community care services across the country to borrow and benefit from our artworks and creative activities.
Here are the five simple steps to borrowing art from Paintings in Hospitals and engaging with creative workshops:
1. Discuss your art needs with our Relationship & Development Manager
Our Relationship & Development Managers work with every different type of health and community care organisation you can think of. They’re experts. They’ll give you advice and guide you through the loan process, step by step.
2. Your Relationship & Development Manager will arrange to visit you
They’ll stop by at a convenient time for you. They’ll assess your site to figure out what could work best in your available space.
3. Your Relationship & Development Manager will design a selection activity
We know that patients and staff get the greatest benefit from art when they’re empowered with the skills and confidence to make a meaningful connection with it. We will create an activity to help your service users and staff choose the artworks they need to support their health and wellbeing. You will need a minimum of 10 artworks to make a real impact.
4. The paperwork
That’s why we’ll take care of everything: contracts, transport, insurance, etc. Although we fundraise to greatly subsidise our art loans, we do ask for a contribution to help us cover the overall cost.
5. Your artwork arrives!
Now you’ll begin to see the real difference our art can make to the lives of people working in and using your care space.
