Shaftesbury Avenue Showcase Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers who show flair in a people-facing environment to join us at our showcase on Wednesday 5th February 2025.
Key tasks:
- Checking guests in upon arrival, noting their information to meet health and safety regulations
- Escorting guests to our designated floor level
- Handling payment transactions through our electronic payment system (Square)
- Providing guests with refreshments such as wine, soft drinks, and snacks
- Helping with the set-up and clean-up before and after the event
- Be a friendly face for conversing with guests and staff
We are also looking for some pre-showcase prep to help us create a visual slideshow for the event.
Whilst we welcome all volunteers to join our team, we hope to attract some of the following qualities:
Experience and Knowledge
- Previous customer-facing roles, such as retail or hospitality
- Use of online payment services
- Ability to maintain a welcoming and friendly manner
Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively as a team
We are looking for volunteers who can commit approximately 4 hours of their time on Wednesday 5th February 2025, between 6pm – 10pm.
